Energy Saved For Things You Love
Cornell Trace independent living patio home community is located on the Springhurst Pines Senior Campus near the intersection of N. Hurstbourne Parkway and Westport Road in northeastern Jefferson County. Construction began in 1997 on the first of the 58 patio homes of Cornell Trace, and was complete by 2000.
Springhurst Pines Senior Campus is operated by Baptist Homes, Inc., a non-profit corporation dedicated to providing quality care to all regardless of their religious affiliation. BHI opened a skilled nursing care facility, now known as Springhurst Health and Rehab In 1979. The rehab unit provides both inpatient and outpatient care just around the corner from Cornell Trace, and the loyalty program for our residents can mean significant savings on inpatient care: $50 off your Cornell Trace maintenance fee up to the full monthly amount for each day of your stay in the facility. In 2016, Springhurst Health and Rehab opened 40 private rooms in a brand new wing.
In 2002, Parr’s at Springhurst, the elegant, apartment-style personal care facility, was opened next door. Parr’s features one-bedroom units, two-bedroom units, and studio apartments, with licensed staff on site 24 hours every day. Residents of Cornell Trace are entitled to priority placement should they opt for the higher level of care Parr’s offers.
