Community Sales and Services Director
Amy took the position of Marketing Agent and Property Manager in August of 2012 and quickly expanded her responsibilities to include Community Development. Her desire to empower the residents of Cornell Trace to live safely independently in their own homes for as long as possible lead her to develop the Thrivers program, an ongoing series of entertaining and informative monthly events featuring presentations by relevant service providers. She claims it as her responsibility to put fun and fellowship where it is easy to find; build and implement strategies that promote our comfortable, safe and convenient independent-living homes and lifestyles to active seniors; and continually assess the current conditions, envisioning the future for the Cornell Trace Community.
Principal Cornell Trace Maintenance
David is known for his broad range of home maintenance knowledge and creative problem-solving, and loved for his warmth and humor. He has come by his skill through many years of advancement as a corrections officer in LaGrange, Kentucky, including:
- Food Manager
- First Responder
- Backup Locksmith
- Hostage Negotiator
He has even been a “Lunch Lady” at a school cafeteria–and, by the way, a maintenance man at another senior facility! At home on the farm, David is a breeder of pure-blooded Santa Gertrudis cattle.
